What is EB-1A?

EB-1A is the first preference employment-based green card for individuals with extraordinary ability in sciences, arts, education, business, or athletics. It's the most prestigious employment-based permanent residence category.

High Salary or Remuneration

Evidence of commanding high salary or fees compared to others in field

  • Equity compensation reflecting extraordinary contribution

Final Merits Determination

Meeting 3 of the 8 criteria is just the first step. USCIS will then conduct a "final merits determination" to assess whether the evidence demonstrates extraordinary ability at the top of your field.

The totality of evidence must show that you are among the small percentage who have risen to the very top of your field of endeavor and have sustained national or international acclaim.

Strategic Considerations
